Technology
How it is made
Aluwood is a hybrid construction: a formed aluminium core gives the board its stiffness and dimensional stability, while a co-extruded plastic shield wraps all four sides and every groove. The result behaves like a metal deck in straightness and span, with the warm look, grip and low maintenance of WPC on the surface. Because the core contains no wood flour, water has nothing to swell — which is why Aluwood is the first choice for pool surrounds and coastal sites.
