Technology
How it is made
Co-extrusion runs two materials through one die: a tough, pigmented shield layer over a structural WPC core. The shield — not the core — carries the colour and the grain, which is why co-extruded boards stay deep in colour while single-material boards chalk and fade. At STARLEO the shield wraps all four sides and every groove; many boards in the market are capped on the top face only, leaving the core exposed at the edges. Eight standard colours are stocked: TK teak, RW redwood, SI silver grey, BK black, RCE light wood, WN walnut, AT ash grey and WT white.
