Step 1 — Four questions

Four questions to your specification

Answer four short questions and we will narrow the range down to the series, profile and colour that fit the project.

01

What colour direction are you working with?

02

What size and span does the project need?

03

What material construction do you need?

04

What surface style do you want?

Answer the four questions above and your specification summary appears here.

Step 2 — Common questions

The questions buyers ask first

Short, practical answers. Where a number depends on the profile, we say so rather than quote a figure that will not hold on your site.

Co-extruded or standard WPC — which should I choose?

For pool decks, coastal sites, restaurants and any project where staining and fading would be visible, a capped co-extruded profile is the safer default.

What joist spacing should I plan for?

As a starting point for residential decks laid perpendicular to the joists, 16 in. (400 mm) on centre is the common figure.

How many clips and screws will I need?

Quantity follows board width and joist spacing, so we calculate it against your actual layout rather than a rule of thumb.

Will the colour fade?

Every outdoor surface weathers under UV, including wood. Capped co-extruded profiles weather far less than standard WPC.

Can it be used around pools and on the coast?

Yes — with two conditions. Choose a capped co-extruded or aluminium-core profile, and specify 316 stainless steel fasteners for salt or chlorinated environments.

What is the minimum order quantity and lead time?

Both depend on profile, colour and finish, and on whether the colour is a stock item or a custom run.

Can I get samples?

Yes. Colour cards and cut samples are available for the series you are considering.

Still deciding?

Send us the drawing and we will specify it for you

A plan, a photo of the site and the area are enough for us to come back with a series, a profile, a fastener schedule and a quotation.
